Offaly Library Visit

Tullamore Library Visit

I am looking forward to my Tullamore Library visit, in County Offaly on the 19th of December.

There, I will be speaking about all that is going on in the world of Moany McMoan. I will be talking about the recent launch of Moany McMoan… The School Tour. (Sure What Could Possibly Go Wrong?) both in Dublin and in Banagher.  I will also be demonstrating how some of the illustrations were created and will also be getting the children to have a go at doing some of the illustrations themselves. Who knows? there might even be a prize or two on offer. I just hope that they aren’t too good or I might be out of a job. Not that that my illustrations would win prizes for artistic ability but so far so good. I also can’t wait for the question and answer session. They are always great fun.

I always look forward to visiting my home county, any excuse will do really. However, I am looking forward to this visit as it will be my first time to visit Tullamore Library. It will also be the first time that I will get the opportunity to talk to the children there. I have visited Birr Library earlier in the year but I can’t wait to see the artistic skills which will be on offer in Tullamore,  I know it is going to be great. I always get a great buzz when I head home to Offaly. Even though I have lived longer outside of Offaly, it will always be home.

To date, the first book has had some amazing reviews and I am hoping for a repeat with Moany’s latest adventure. Fingers crossed. I am grateful to the Offaly County Library for the invite and the opportunity to hopefully gain a few more readers for the Moany McMoan series.
